Who I am

Prompt Period is operated by Data-Informed Impact LLC, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jessica Lane runs it. By using the site or buying the course, you're agreeing to these terms.

What you're buying

Lifetime access to the Prompt Period course as released: 8 modules, fillable workbook PDFs, and any updates I choose to make. Access is tied to your email address. I may issue major revisions or new versions separately in the future.

What you get

All 8 modules and every workbook are available immediately when you buy, with lifetime access. If anything is missing or broken, email me and I'll fix it or refund you.

Payment

One-time payment processed by Stripe. Prices shown at checkout in US dollars. Stripe handles all payment data; I don't see your card number.

Refunds

No standard refund policy. If you bought and feel the course isn't what you expected, email me and we'll figure it out human-to-human. I've never said no to someone with a real reason.

Acceptable use

• Don't share your sign-in link or access token with anyone else.
• Don't download the videos and redistribute them.
• Don't resell the workbooks, scripts, or any course content.
• You CAN use what you learn however you want in your own work. That's the whole point.
• You CAN print the workbooks for personal use.

If I notice someone's sharing access widely (e.g., 30 users from one email), I'll reach out before doing anything drastic.

No legal or compliance advice

The course covers FERPA-aligned practices and teaches you how to avoid student data in AI. It is NOT legal advice. It is NOT a formal FERPA compliance review. If your district has questions about whether your use of AI complies with their policy or applicable law, talk to them and to a qualified attorney.

Disclaimers

The course is provided as-is. I think it's really good. But results vary by district, by tool, by your own willingness to do the activities. I can't guarantee specific outcomes (hours saved, time recovered, etc.) for any individual.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim related to the course is limited to what you paid for it. I'm not liable for indirect damages, lost time, or third-party tool issues (Stripe, Neon, Resend, Anthropic, etc.).

Changes

I might update these terms. If something material changes, I'll email everyone who has access. The minor stuff just gets fixed here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in Hamilton County, Ohio.
